Laboratorie- och forskningsbyggnad i Mölndal

Hus LF är en del av AstraZenecas anläggning för R&D i Mölndal som tillverkar försöksserier av läkemedel för kliniska försök (s.k. Pilot Plant).

Byggnaden rymmer tre enheter; tillverkning, förpackning samt lager. Verksamheten sker i huvudsak i GMP-klassad zon (Good Manufacturing Practice).

Byggnaden är uppförd i fem plan inklusive fläktvind och källare. Via kulvert förbinds komplexet med övrig verksamhet. Komplexiteten med en laboratorie- och forskningsbyggnad som AstraZeneca LF handlar om att kunna hantera de olika driftsbehoven och skapa väl fungerande utrymmen för tekniska installationer, att ta hänsyn till bullerproblematik, sterila rum, städning av kliniska ytor, belysningskrav i operationssalar och olika typer säkerhetsklasser.

Som arkitekt behöver du ha en ”split vision”, förstå problematiken och se möjligheterna. Du behöver ta hänsyn till hela byggnadens behov, från fastighetsägarens önskan om ett flexibelt hus som ska kunna byggas om när hyresgästen flyttar, till användarnas extremt specifika krav när byggnaden skall tas i bruk.
